How billing works
- The subscription term is twelve months and renews automatically for further twelve-month terms unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- The annual charge is the monthly unit price multiplied by twelve and by the number of enabled mailboxes.
- Extra mailboxes, storage upgrades and options added during a term are charged pro rata to the next renewal date. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
- We may change published prices, but a new price never applies during a term you have already paid for. Any change applies from your next renewal and only after at least 30 days' notice.
- A change to this page does not alter a price already agreed for your current term.

Optional Services
Two options can be added to any plan, on all mailboxes or only the ones that need them.
Security Email Archive
A read-only mirror of every message sent and received through the platform, with search, export and recovery. It does not count against the mailbox quota. You choose a retention period from one to ten years; messages older than that period are permanently deleted from the archive. Archiving starts when the option is switched on: messages already in the mailbox are included only if you ask us to import them.
Assisted backup restore
One operation covers one mailbox and one recovery job from one restore point or date range. The fee is due for the agreed recovery attempt whether the data proves fully, partly or not recoverable, provided the attempt is carried out with reasonable care.
What "Fully Managed" Actually Means
The platform is only half of it. The reason to buy mailboxes from us rather than from a self-service provider is that the administration is ours, not yours.
- Domain and mailbox provisioning, account creation, and joiners, movers and leavers.
- Mail authentication configured and maintained — SPF, DKIM and DMARC, plus MX and autodiscover records.
- Secure client configuration: TLS, IMAP and SMTP, mobile devices, and ActiveSync where your plan includes it.
- The security controls your plan offers, actually switched on — two-factor authentication rollout, IP restrictions and password policy.
- Log review and mailbox activity checks.
- Spam, phishing and abuse handling, and deliverability troubleshooting when your mail stops reaching someone.
- Archive searches and restore requests handled by us.
- Migration in — and a clean export out if you ever leave.
Support is included and is provided by ObsidianCorps directly. Response targets and priority handling apply where they are agreed in your order.

Where Your Mail Lives
Mailbox data and its backups are hosted in facilities located in the European Economic Area. ObsidianCorps is a Luxembourg company, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B294975. Limited technical logs and security metadata may be processed by the platform operator's own providers outside the EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses; the Privacy Notice sets this out in full.
For business customers, you remain the data controller for the content of your mailboxes and we act as your processor. The hosting platform operator acts as a sub-processor. The Email Hosting Privacy Notice sets out the roles, the retention periods and the transfer safeguards in full.
We do not routinely read message content. Access happens only where it is necessary for a support request you have raised, a security investigation, or a legal obligation — and it is limited to authorised personnel and the minimum necessary.
Moving Your Mail Across
Migration from your current provider is scoped and quoted per project, and a setup fee may apply depending on the size and state of what is being moved. Tell us how many mailboxes, how much data and which system you are on now, and you will get a fixed quote.
Migrations are carried out on a reasonable-efforts basis. Keep access to your old system and an independent copy of the source data until you have verified that everything arrived — that is standard practice for any mail migration, and we will tell you when it is safe to switch off.
Good to Know
The things worth knowing before you buy, rather than after.
- Messages in Spam and Trash are permanently deleted after 30 calendar days, and anything held in Quarantine may be deleted after the same period. Move whatever you want to keep into another folder before then.
- Automatic backup snapshots cover roughly the previous 15 days. Recovery of any particular message is not guaranteed, which is why the archive option exists for anything you must be able to produce later.
- A mailbox is for active use, not as a passive archive or a file store. Users should sign in at least every 30 days.
- This is business email, not a bulk-marketing or high-volume transactional sending platform. Daily sending limits apply by plan; use a dedicated delivery service if you send at volume.
- It is ordinary email. It is not a certified or registered electronic-delivery service and provides no legal proof of delivery.
- Consumers buying outside a trade or profession have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal from the date the contract is concluded.
- Antivirus, antispam and log review reduce risk but cannot detect every threat, and monitoring is not a guarantee that every event will be caught. Users still need to treat unexpected messages, links and attachments with care.

What does the price include?
The monthly unit price covers the mailbox itself — storage, mail, and the features listed for your plan — plus the management: account creation, secure configuration, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, security-policy setup, log review, routine administration and support. Optional services and migration work are priced separately.
Is the price per mailbox or per domain?
Per mailbox. You can host as many domains as you need, and there is no minimum number of mailboxes. The annual charge is the monthly unit price multiplied by twelve and by the number of enabled mailboxes.
Can we keep our existing domain?
Yes, and you should. You keep your domain and your registrar; we configure the MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and autodiscover records that point mail at the new platform. If a third party manages your DNS, we will tell them exactly what to change.
Where is our mail actually stored?
Mailbox data and its backups are hosted in facilities located in the European Economic Area. ObsidianCorps is a Luxembourg company and your contract is with us, under Luxembourg law. The Email Hosting Privacy Notice sets out the processing roles, sub-processors and transfer safeguards in detail.
Can we change plan or storage in the middle of a term?
You can add mailboxes, upgrade storage or enable options at any time; those are charged pro rata through to your next renewal date. Reductions and downgrades take effect at the next renewal rather than immediately.
What happens at renewal if prices have changed?
A published price change never applies to a term you have already paid for. It applies from your next renewal date and only after at least 30 days' notice, which will state the new price and how to cancel before renewal. If that notice is not given, the existing price carries into the renewal.
How long does migration take?
It depends on the number of mailboxes, the volume of data and the system you are moving from — a handful of mailboxes is usually a matter of days, a larger estate is scoped as a project. Activation and migration dates are estimates unless a binding date is written into your order, because registrars, DNS propagation and your previous provider all affect the timing.
What exactly do you manage, and what stays with us?
We manage the platform, the mailboxes, the authentication records, the security settings your plan offers, log review and support. You decide who gets a mailbox, who may request changes, what your retention rules are, and how long the optional archive keeps messages. You also keep responsibility for your domain registration, your internet connection and your users' devices.
